No, Trump and the Republicans in congress are responsible. They were offered a bill which would have lowered the numbers to manageable proportions, but Trump told them to pull it, because he needed the issue for his campaign.

Ummmm...in case you missed it, Biden has been President (in name only I agree) since 2021, and Kamala has been Vice president the same length of time. Kamala was border czar since March 2021.

Without the funds from congress to back it up, nothing happens.
Congress (with its tiny Republican majority) blocked it and the Senate Republicans filibustered a bipartisan border security bill twice.
This was after Trump made it clear he wanted the border to remain a problem.
The responsibility lies with Trump, not Biden.

The US economy needs immigrants. Some are undocumented (the term "illegal" has no force in the US constitution). If all were deported, the US labour market would collapse.
