Next Chapter - "Jellybeans in the Jungle"

Well done.

After reading Paul Ham's book on Vietnam, I rang Simon Townsend, you know, the conscientious objector who had a TV show called Simon's World.

He was a little hard to understand as he had had a couple of strokes. I asked if we could meet for coffee. I told him I didn't know why I felt compelled to talk to him, but I wanted to let him know that I respected him.

We never did meet up, but I hope I gave him the respect that he deserves.

I didn't say the word 'Vietnam' for at least 10 years.

Like you I was in Education, but in Finance and Admin. When an intelligent woman found out one day that I was a veteran, she asked" Did you shoot anyone?"

Can you leave your contact details on my blog as a comment? They won't be published.

1735099, When you do make it over to the west I'd be happy to show you around our disability system (if you had an interest to do so on your holiday).
