I want to offer a comment on teachers. We had a couple, and they were treated funny by the ARA. I think they were challenged by their intellect.
Some lacked common sense, a common trait for someone who has a brain, so I could never get over what they were doing in Infantry.
Why the Army put Nasho teachers into Infantry is one of life's great puzzles.
What a waste.

It probably did them the world of good. I don't think it did me any harm, even though I didn't think so at the time. After all, I could operate a Bell and Howell 16mm movie projector.....method in their madness?
