Terrorism in Toowoomba

Pic courtesy Toowoomba Chronicle

It's refreshing (and unexpected) to find the local paper calling this for what it is - Terrorism.

It's less unexpected to see it reported as arson in the News Corp media.

Obviously, as far as the MSM is concerned, only Muslims are capable of terrorism.

From the article -

I would like to be wrong - but I suggest to you, dear reader, that if the attack had been made on a different building on Friday morning, and if the perpetrator had a Muslim background - the headline would have read something like, "Terror reaches Toowoomba."
When somebody who is not of Islamic faith conducts an attack on a community or a building of significance, it is described as an "isolated incident of arson" - but when somebody of Islamic faith commits a similar crime it is described as "terror".

Ninety-nine percent of Muslims are not terrorists. Ninety-five percent of todays terrorists are Muslims.

So whoever burnt the mosque is one of the 5% not Muslim?
Think about it...........

So the perpetrators are known?

"So whoever burnt the mosque is one of the 5% not Muslim?
Think about it"......having done your research since my last comment you have obviously come to the conclusion that you cannot rule out a Muslim arsonist/vandal/criminal.

You've obviously forgotten to wear your tinfoil hat.

And you obviously seek information from a very cloudy crystal ball whilst wearing welding goggles.

Recent news would indicate that terrorism of the Islamic type is fomented in Toowoomba. Who would have thought?

As pointed out above, his "radicalization" took place after he left Toowoomba.
Martin Bryant is a Taswegian. Taking your bizarre logic to its ridiculous extreme, they're all psychopaths down there.

Martin Bryant??? WTF? There is something that should be brought to your attention.....you remind me of the story of the soldier in the parade whose mother believes he is the only one in step.....except that in your case you are the one who thinks that you are the only one "in step". If you don't believe me try and gauge the response to your posts on each of the blogs you comment on.

I comment only on blogs posted by the rabid Right. The responses make it entertaining. I could comment on blogs where everyone would agree with me - but that would be boring.
You really need to get out more and try engaging with people who disagree with you. That way, you might actually learn something.

I often wondered what was meant by the description "troll"....now I guess I know.

One more bite before I go Bob....I've spent forty five years of my life engaging with people who, more often that not, disagreed with me and frequently sought to prove their side of the debate with violence of varying levels. And you are correct, I have learned a few things along the way. We agree then that a life in conflict is a learning experience.
